In the year 1748, when Novi Sad was granted the status of a free royal city, an unusual merchant — known for his wisdom and silence — named Nebojša Veselinović, decided to hide a portion of his wealth: gold coins he had collected over the years by trading along the Danube and through the Balkan trade routes. He trusted neither banks nor his relatives. Instead, he devised a complex system of clues spread throughout the city. He believed that only those who were wise enough, persistent, and attentive would be able to find his hidden treasure. Legend has it that he left the gold coins “to those who know how to listen to the city, read the clues, and preserve the past. Many have tried to find them — none have succeeded. Your task is to follow the clues through the city. If you decipher them all — the gold coins will be yours.
